PGA Level and CO2 Sensor

Features

Lidar Level Sensor

  • Offer accurate, non-contact measure of grain levels in the bin.
  • Stay informed with real time alerts of abrupt decreases in bin level, enabling effective theft prevention and control measures.

CO2 Sensor

  • Real-time alerts of bin CO2 levels that indicate spoilage, mold, and insect activity.
  • Easy installation; no modification needed in your bin as it comes with a bracket to be installed on the roof man door of the grain bin

Why Co2?

Insects and molds are aerobic organisms that respire and release carbon dioxide into the interstitial air of a stored grain mass. Upward moving convection air currents within the grain mass transport CO2 into the silo’s head space. Typically, ambient air has a CO2 concentration of 350-400 parts per million (ppm). Past research indicates that a stable grain mass has a CO2 concentration of 400-600 ppm. Higher levels indicate biological activity above normal. This measure has been proven to be an earlier indication compared to temperature, odor or visual analysis.
